New Retail and Dining Experiences Coming Soon to Heartland Town Square!

In collaboration with Hodges Architects, Huffines Communities has begun developing and constructing the highly anticipated Heartland Town Square in the flourishing Heartland master-planned community.

Strategically located at the southeast corner of I-20 (with an average daily traffic of 53,000 vehicles) and FM741 (14,000 average daily vehicles), this expansive 25-acre retail and commercial project promises to become a lively hub. The convenience stores 7-Eleven and McDonald’s are already open for business, and Taco Bell is set to break ground in August 2024.

Construction has started on three multi-tenant retail buildings, offering nearly 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. End-cap tenants will benefit from patio dining areas, while an outdoor lawn and amenity space surrounded by the buildings will feature a jumbo-screen TV for sporting events and movies in the park. The area will be adorned with extensive landscaping and play sculptures, catering to the 15,000+ residents of Heartland and over 100,000 potential customers within a 7-minute drive.

The three buildings are expected to house sit-down restaurants with outdoor patio spaces. The target businesses include neighborhood retailers such as a nail salon, donut shop, various restaurants (breakfast, ice cream, pizza, burgers, Asian cuisine, sandwiches, Mexican food, seafood, etc.), as well as businesses like cellular providers, optical services, dental/ortho clinics, hair care, pet supplies, and health/beauty/vitamins shops. The objective is to bring a diverse mix of stores that will benefit the residents of Heartland and the surrounding area.

Designed by the renowned Hodges Architecture, which boasts an impressive portfolio of 46 million square feet of retail, cinema, and entertainment spaces across 36 states, Heartland Town Square is set to become a premier destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

We are also in ongoing discussions with a large grocery store and are working diligently to meet their requirements. However, this process will take time.

“We are proud to bring this exciting project to the Heartland community, and the design, amenities, and the town green space will make this a celebratory place for families to gather together.” Phillip Huffines, CEO of Huffines Communities

Construction is currently underway, with the first tenants expected to move in by spring 2025.
